Ended up buying the 135i I went to look at. It’s in decent condition minus a few scrapes on 2 of the wheels and peeling of the carbon fibre front lip and spoiler. It drives many fasts with the short shift and procede tune. All the electronics scare the daylights out of me after the Honda which was quite analogue. It’s super comfy and pulls like nothing I’ve ever experienced including v8 m3’s. Now just need to sell the Honda so I can buy food to live etc. An issue at the moment is that the battery isn’t registered as it’s an aftermarket one. Overall happy for now, will see when things start breaking haha.

That's a pretty expensive steering wheel! It is OEM though so it's got some resale, at least you know the previous owner didn't cheap out on the car. Gorgeous color, looks great. It shouldn't be too bad reliability wise, and in case it does go bad some of the key turbo parts are warrantied for a while. The new parts are much less likely to fail as well. N54 or N55? Looks like a later built 1 series but I can't completely tell.

Is that a damn display in the top of the steering wheel!?

Yeah haha it’s a bit cocky. G force, air and oil temp, lap timer, 400m timer, shift lights. And there is another p3 gauge in the right airvent. A lot of stuff previous owner had done to keep an eye on the car’s vital. The wheel is worth a grand new.

Your steering wheel is worth as much as my car. Good job.

Oh god I have some bad news for you. It seems they put the steering wheel on the wrong side! Pity, it must of been made on a Friday in October.
Jk, enjoy! Love the interlagos blue and ducktail with the lci tailights. I hope you saved up a speeding ticket fund!

Im interested in hearing how you like the procede tune. I was looking at doing a jb4 at some point but I havent decided yet. Great looking car though, I love mine!

Yay buddies. To be honest it scares me that it puts extra stress on an engine that scared me enough already baha

Yea I’m a little worried about that too. The engines seem pretty solid though. Im almost at 50k and about to do the drivetrain fluids and clean the intake valves

Battery isn’t registered? Hwut? You guys have to register your batteries?

Yeah this car is an electronic nightmare it’s giving me palpitations haha. It needs to be registered so that it charges properly. Otherwise it will lose life quicker. That’s so bmw can make you buy their own $600 battery. Plus 200 to register with one button on an obd2 scanner. India shops do it much cheaper, only thing is I live in the country so have no choice for now. Urgh. This is gunna get real expensive.

You would think that, but then PO skimped out on aftermarket battery with no coding. Maybe it was the dealer who skimped, not sure. You should have a mechanic give it a once over.

You can register the battery yourself using the BMWhat app and a $20 obdII bluetooth dongle. Good to have for other things as well.
